​Sir Lancelot is perhaps one of the most famous Knights of the Round Table. He was the best friend of King Arthur. Despite that he fell in love with the wife of Arthur, Guinevere. He became one of the Knights of the Round Table because he rescued Guinevere from danger of  the enemy.

 

But unfortunately, his relationship with Guinevere has led him to go astray and killed the two brothers of sir Gawain. After Arthurs death, Guinevere thinks that the end of the round table is caused by their love. She refuses to kiss Lancelot and doesn’t want to see his face ever again. After the death of the queen he brought her body to the place where Arthur was buried.

 

Completely devastated about the loss of his queen and king, he eventually dies six weeks after the burial of Guinevere.
